On to other Adventures
Dave has again taken an assignment with CESO and we're getting ready to see another part of the world. We're going to Peru! The flights are booked. I have one more week before retiring from work, and then a week to pack before we head out.
Where are we going? And what are we up to? The project will take us up to a tiny village high in the Andes Mountains. It's about 3900 m (over 12,000 feet) above sea level. To put that into perspective, it's like living on the top of Mount Robson, the highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies. The project involves helping the community balance the competing interests of tourism, protecting the eco-system and maintaining a sustainable lifestyle. How that will look, we will find out. Dave's on assignment, and I'm along for the ride!
Let the retirement life begin!
