40th Anniversary

 

What you DO on your anniversary and how you CELEBRATE your anniversary can be two different things.

In our case, the ‘doing’ on this, our 40^th anniversary day, was driving from Mont Ste. Anne Campground through to Hampton, New Brunswick, with Koralie perched between us in the cupholder/middle seat in our truck.  (The back seat was completely packed with wonderful stuff to give to Steve and Kelly).

We enjoyed a picnic enroute, dropped Koralie off at some gas station (where our son-in-law, Devon, came to pick her up) and set up camp on our friends’ driveway in Hampton.

Happy Anniversary Day to us.

I suppose we could say that the 'celebration' of our anniversary is this long road trip we’re on, but I think we’ll consider the vacation in Newfoundland (that’s coming up next) as the celebration part.  It will be the part of the journey that’s just the two of us.   

Now we’re in New Brunswick, getting ready for Steve and Kelly’s wedding on the weekend.
